When we launched Workslip, our focus was clear: build the simplest job management app for solo tradespeople. Thousands of plumbers, electricians, and cleaners now use Workslip every day to create jobs, send invoices, and manage their customers.

But many of those solo operators did something we hoped for. They grew. They hired their first technician, then a second, and suddenly they needed more than a personal job tracker. They needed a way to manage a team.

Today we are launching the Workslip Team Plan, built from the ground up for small field service businesses with two to five technicians.

What the Team Plan Includes

The Team plan is not just the Pro plan with extra seats. We built entirely new features designed for the specific challenges of managing a mobile workforce.

Map View

See all your active jobs plotted on a map with color-coded pins by status. At a glance, you know which technician is where and which jobs are still pending. No more calling your team to ask where they are or texting for status updates.

Each pin shows the customer name, job type, and assigned technician. Tap any pin to jump straight to the full job details.

Team Dashboard

A dedicated dashboard gives you a real-time overview of your entire operation:

  • Active jobs — see who is working on what right now
  • Team members — each technician's current status and workload
  • Revenue summary — track earnings across your whole team, not just your own jobs
  • Performance metrics — compare completion rates and response times across technicians

The team dashboard updates in real time as technicians complete jobs, add photos, and collect signatures in the field. You always have an accurate picture of your operation without making a single phone call.

SLA Tracking

For businesses that promise response times to their customers or manage service contracts, the Team plan includes built-in SLA monitoring. Set your target response time and completion time, and Workslip tracks your compliance rate automatically.

You will see at a glance if your team is meeting its promises or if certain job types consistently run over target.

Job Assignment

When you create or edit a job, a technician picker lets you assign the right person instantly. Your technician sees only their assigned jobs on their dashboard, keeping things focused and simple. As the business owner, you see everything.

Advanced Reports

Go beyond basic revenue numbers with weekly trend charts and technician performance rankings. Identify who your top performer is, which days are busiest, and where bottlenecks form in your workflow.

How It Works for Your Technicians

We designed the technician experience to be as frictionless as possible. When you add a team member, Workslip creates their login credentials. You share these via the built-in credential sharing modal, which lets you copy the details or send them directly through WhatsApp.

Once your technician logs in, they see a simplified interface:

  • Jobs tab — only the jobs assigned to them
  • Settings tab — their signature and basic account settings

No clutter. No access to billing, customer financials, or business settings. They focus on the work; you manage the business.

Adding Technicians

From Settings, tap "Add Team Member" and enter their name and email. Workslip generates a secure password and presents a sharing modal. Your technician downloads the app, logs in, and is ready to receive jobs. The entire process takes about two minutes.

Start by adding your most tech-comfortable team member first. Once they are up and running, they can help onboard the rest of your crew. Peer training is often more effective than top-down instruction.

Pricing

The Team plan is $79.99 per month or $669.99 per year (a 30% discount). This includes up to five technicians. Need more? Additional team members are $9.99 per month each.

Every Team plan starts with a 14-day free trial so you can test the full feature set with your actual team before committing.
