Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using Workslip.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Workslip mobile application or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Workslip.

2. Description of Service

Workslip is a field service management platform providing: (a) Job tracking and management with photos, notes, and materials. (b) Customer management and communication. (c) Invoice and quote creation with PDF generation. (d) Digital signature capture. (e) Team management and job assignment (Team plan). (f) Calendar and map views. (g) Business reports and analytics. (h) Multi-language support (English, Spanish, Turkish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian). (i) WhatsApp integration for customer communication. The service is available as a mobile application for iOS and Android.

3. Plans & Pricing

Workslip offers the following plans: (a) Free — $0 forever, limited to 30 jobs per month, includes basic features with 'Powered by Workslip' watermark on PDFs. (b) Pro — $19.99/month or $179.99/year (25% savings), unlimited jobs, invoice system, calendar view, report exports, no watermark. (c) Team — $79.99/month or $669.99/year (30% savings), includes everything in Pro plus 5 technicians (additional technicians at $9.99/month each), team management, map view, SLA tracking, advanced reports. Both Pro and Team plans include a 14-day free trial. Prices are in USD and may vary by region due to App Store/Play Store pricing tiers. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice.

4. Free Trial & Cancellation

Pro and Team plans include a 14-day free trial. During the trial: (a) You have full access to all plan features. (b) No payment is charged during the trial period. (c) You may cancel at any time before the trial ends without charge. After the trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled. To cancel: manage your subscription through Apple App Store or Google Play Store settings. Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of your current billing period. After expiration, your account reverts to the Free plan — your data is preserved, but premium features become unavailable.

5. User Accounts

You are responsible for: (a) Providing accurate and complete information during registration. (b) Maintaining the security of your account credentials. (c) All activity that occurs under your account. (d) Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access. For Team plan accounts: the account owner is responsible for team members created under their account. Team member credentials are generated by the owner and shared securely. Team members have limited access (jobs and settings only) based on their assigned role.

6. Your Data & Ownership

You retain full ownership of all data you enter into Workslip, including but not limited to: job records, customer information, invoices, quotes, photos, signatures, and reports. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. You grant us a limited license to process, store, and transmit your data solely for the purpose of providing the Workslip service. You can export your data (Pro/Team: PDF and CSV reports) or delete your entire account and all associated data at any time through Settings > Edit Profile > Delete Account.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) Use the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws. (b) Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data or our systems. (c) Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code. (d) Abuse the service by creating excessive automated requests. (e) Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the service without permission. (f) Use the free plan to circumvent paid plan limits (e.g., creating multiple accounts). We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

Workslip is provided 'as is' and 'as available' without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law: (a) We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. (b) We are not liable for any loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities. (c) Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim. (d) We are not responsible for service interruptions due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. (e) We do not guarantee the accuracy of reports, calculations, or generated documents — you are responsible for verifying their correctness.

9. Payment Terms

All subscription payments are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not directly handle payment information. Refunds are subject to Apple's and Google's respective refund policies. Stripe payment links (Pro/Team feature) allow you to collect payments from your customers — you are responsible for your own Stripe account, fees, and compliance with Stripe's terms of service.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time: (a) You may delete your account through the app (Settings > Edit Profile > Delete Account). This permanently removes all your data within 24 hours. (b) We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms, with notice when possible. (c) Upon termination, your right to use premium features ceases immediately. (d) Data deletion is permanent and irreversible — ensure you export any needed data before deletion.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes arising from these terms or the use of Workslip shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable rules.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of Workslip after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you may cancel your subscription and delete your account.
